You can make a real difference in the life of a Rochester child by donating your used computer through Micrecycle.

· Provide access to the educational benefits of computers

· Strengthen Rochester by helping improve technology skills

· Help reduce harmful landfill waste

· Donations are tax deductible

· All hard drive data is permanently erased

 

What we need:

PCs: At least Pentium III, 600 MHz, 128 MB RAM, 5 GB hard drive.

Computers manufactured after June, 2001 will generally meet the required specifications.

You can also check specifications by right-clicking on My Computer and selecting Properties

Monitors (with PCs): VGA or better, 15”+, good display quality (We are currently accepting monitors only with PCs. We will recycle monitors without PCs for a $3 handling fee.)

Working accessories: Keyboards, mice, power cords, monitor cables, speakers

Working components: CD-ROM drives, DVD-ROM drives, CD burners, hard drives,
memory, VGA video cards, network cards, sound cards, 56K modems
